College Students

College is a time of transition and stress. Let’s navigate it together!

Are you on a WAITING LIST at your college counseling center or LIMITED by the number of sessions your Counseling Center offers?

Are the services offered just not enough?

Having worked at three different University college counseling centers (Wesleyan University in Connecticut, Barry University in Miami and Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers) I am highly experienced in college mental health and know the ins and outs. I understand the limitations of care.

I first handedly know that the transition to college can be a difficult and intimidating one. I understand you are juggling classes, social relationships, and multiple responsibilities every day. Sometimes, a lack of motivation is a symptom of deeper, underlying struggles such as anxiety, depression, learning challenges or low self-esteem. I can help you move forward on your journey to independence and help you overcome obstacles for independence and growth.

College is a time of transitions involving multiple intellectual, academic, social, emotional and developmental changes. It is a time of self-discovery and soul searching, and can often cause individuals to feel overwhelmed, stressed and in need of support and guidance.

Are you experiencing:

  • Trouble adjusting to being in college or having online classes
  • Heightened anxiety about attending school during COVID-19
  • Difficulty navigating conflict and boundary setting with roommates or family

  • Uncertainty about steps and life after graduation
  • I specialize in helping students reduce and manage symptoms so they do not negatively impact your academic success.
